Phew, another close one for Duke yesterday. Unfortunately it wasn't televised so I had to keep hitting the "refresh" button in Firefox - it is probably worn out. The first big rivaly game against the UNC Tar Holes is on Tuesday - I can't remember the last time Duke played on a Tuesday!

Watched two movies this weekend:

Murderball - This is a documentary about parapalegics who play wheelchair rugby. It was an interesting movie, vulgar at times, but worthwhile I think. The documentary focuses the story on a couple of the players, a gentleman who was recently injured and the coach of the Canadian team who used to be a US star - he comes off as a real jerk at most times. Worth watching to see the hard work that goes into competing.

The Brothers Grimm - I had high hopes for this movie - good cast, a former Python for a director. The movie wasn't great but it was good. The humor is very subtle and you probably won't get it if you aren't a fan of Monty Python movies. Sometimes the story line was a little confusing and the ending is a little weird, but overall it is fun to watch. Unless, however, you are a PETA activist or an animal lover because you may not appreciate the jokes made at the animals expense - especially the cat.

Oh, and my beard is finally gone along with most of my hair.
