Got two new releases from 2005 the other day and both are worth checking out. The Decemberists "Picaresque" was released back in April but I just got around to getting it this past week. I really like it a lot! There are a couple of really great songs and the rest of the songs complement them. This album will definitely be near the top of the year end list!

The other album is from a Canadian band called The Novaks. The album is self-titled and I don't think it is available in the US. The NL and AL wild card races are getting very interesting. All I know is that I don't want the Yankees - any one else is fine.
