Brett's Boring Blog

Check in to see what books I'm reading, what music I'm listening to and the vintage baseball gloves and bats I'm finding at flea markets and antique shows.

Had a fun past couple days working at the PGA Championship and traveling up to Minnesota to do some antique show shopping.

Working the public scoreboard for the PGA was a blast. The people I worked with were really nice and the lady who was in charge, Terry, along with her husband, Ed, were awesome to work for. At the end of the tournament, when we were cleaning up they let me take a couple of the score sheets so I got Luke Donald and Adam Scott. The signs are very big - about 3.5 feet long and 1 foot tall. Eventually I'd like to get them framed.

On my trip to Minnesota I picked up a large assortment of gloves and bats. I didn't get anything super great but I did pick up some nice items. I also managed to pile up 35000 steps on Friday chasing down all of these items. :) It will get me in shape for school I guess.
